How do I add the verse to my Lock Screen?

1. Touch and hold your Lock Screen, then tap Customize.
2. Tap the box under the clock and choose Lock Bible.
3. Add Daily Verse for the verse, and/or Verse Countdown for a timer until the next verse.
4. Pick the rectangular size for full text, or the inline/circular size for a compact view.

Lock Screen widgets require iOS 16 or later. You can also add the widgets to your Home Screen.

How often does the verse change?

It's up to you. In Settings → Verse rotation, choose every 10, 15, or 30 minutes, hourly, every few hours, or once a day.

Can I show verses from only the Old or New Testament?

Yes. In Settings → Verse pool, pick Full Bible, Old Testament, or New Testament. The Old Testament option includes the deuterocanonical books.

Which translation does Lock Bible use?

The World English Bible, Catholic Edition (WEB-CE) — a faithful, readable, public-domain translation that includes the deuterocanonical books.

Does it work offline?

Yes. The entire Bible is built into the app. No internet connection or account is required.

Do you collect any of my data?
